- This is a horizontal radial coil strapping machinewith head in lateral position and motorized advance until it comes into contact with the outside of the coil, all mounted on a structure or bed with fixed anchorage on one side of the steel coil transport system in plants of the iron and steel sector.
- This technical solution is very necessary in hot HRC or cold CRC coil rolling lines, pickling lines, tempering, galvanizing mills, Skin-Pass, ... always with the aim of performing several radial strapping on the inner axis of the coil, while it moves on the cradle or galloping beam with inner axis in parallel position to the coil's direction of travel.
- This model of strapping machine has an open arch which remains in a lateral resting position to the advancing track and, once the coil is positioned in the fixed cradle, the arch and head regulate their working height automatically through an electric motor and detector to perfectly find the center of the coil and, at this moment, they advance towards the coil while the arch closes inside the coil axis, performing the rest of the strapping cycle, launching, tensioning, sealing, cutting and final release.
- In conjunction and to optimize the final strapping result, SORSA has PET plastic strapping heads that reach 800 kg of linear tension on the package, which can work with straps up to 32 mm wide, ideal in cold rolling, finishing or galvanizing applications, as well as the latest technology heads for steel strapping in HRC hot rolling mills, with TIG welding system without linker or clamp, which allows us to guarantee a reliability of the sealing point of minimum 95% or more, being this value the highest in the market by far.
