The definition of lashing involves the lashing of cargo units against each other and directly into a container or ship's hold to prevent their possible displacement for the safety of the cargo but also of the ship in question.

During the lifting of loads, the strap becomes a weight-bearing part of the package, which is why we must use straps up to 1.45 mm thick in conjunction with special reinforced NCR binders.
